Core Engineering is a state-of-the-art, CNC and CMM facility and as a fully integrated manufacturer, controls the process from start to finish.
This allows our customers to capitalise on shorter lead times, simplify their supply chains and have full visibility and control at every stage of the production.
We house some of the industry’s leading 5,4 and 3-Axis machines for low volume large parts, larger tooling magazines for complex geometries and bespoke gun-drilling capabilities, reducing cycle times and building in higher accuracy and reliability.
Inspection and testing is done on site in a clean, controlled facility, using Hexagon’s Global S CMM, meeting industry standard through testing the tightest of tolerances at sub-micron levels, minimising errors and optimising the production part approval process.
Supported at the beignning of the process, by SolidWorks and Edgecam where we can create models, build prototypes and automate our programming across all our machines, for speed and accuracy.

Our multi-million-pound manufacturing investment at J28 not only brings advancements in CNC and CMM, but supports our cast aluminium foundry, Precision Casting with precision engineered final components and parts and Goonvean Electronics in the manufacture of custom electromagnetic coils, for the Defence, Industrial, Aerospace, Electronics and Industrial markets.

How We Can Help
Design
Our design-to-manufacture process combines advanced hardware with intelligent software to ensure every component is engineered for quality, cost-effectiveness and speed. Using SolidWorks and Edgecam software we can seamlessly integrate programming into production.
Battery Projects
We provide high quality moulds and new technology with our Core Power Flow cooling system, to drive innovative design solutions to our battery moulds, ensuring strap thickness, casting consistency, fusion quality and more efficient cooling. We also have a state-of-the-art Mould Test System that run all completed Moulds. This test is recorded and certified before we ship the goods to site.
CNC Milling
Our vertical milling machine, the YCM NMV-106A, mills components with precision and speed. Dimensionally boxed guideway, wide sliding surfaces, it can move large parts with precision and speed. Beneficial for heavy cutting of tough materials, large load capacities, solving the issues of poor accuracy and long machining cycles.
CNC Turning
We cover a wide range of applications across the Medical sector, including shuttle parts, space station parts and much more we have to offer.
